Have been having daughters/husbands/kiddies coming and going to check on their dad. Didn't want to miss this day.

Here are my shots..Flower basket,ready for our new deck..son-in-law finished this week.

Down the driveway for a nice little shot and then on the deck with a chair and flower basket in place..We are just sitting on the deck, sipping something nice and looking at the beauty around us. Fingerprint Friday..

Today is Fingerprint Friday with

Pampering Beki. A beautiful Bluebird. This is not something I get to see many times. I think the last time I saw a Bluebird in my yard was 2002. Now they could be around, but I never see them. I did read where they faded out in Maine and are now making a comeback. That is why I have two bluebird houses in my yard, just waiting.

The male will check out the place for the female.

He did go in and out a few times, but moved on.

I was lucky to catch the few little pictures of him in the process. I feel it was a true gift from God just seeing him. Click on the picture and you'll get a better look at him.

They always say, Bluebirds are lucky..Well, every time I saw one, it was like a sign from God, things will be okay. In 2000, husband had heart attack, saw my first Bluebird. 2002 husband shattered ankle, saw three. Now, husband went in for cataract surgery, saw them again. Not that cataract surgery is that serious, but my husband is blind in one eye, so there was a bit of worry on my part.

All is well and the Bluebird is gone..Thank you God for the little Fingerprint that gave me peace.

Daughter's Cat..

I had to put some pictures up of our oldest daughter's cat.

What a cute little cat he is. His name is Buddy and that he is. A wonderful Buddy to their family..Isn't he beautiful? I have seen many cats, but never with the fur this cat has.

He must have coon cat in his mix. Just something so different and thought you would enjoy seeing him..

Shadow Shot Sunday

Shadow Shot Sunday with Hey Harriet..

Just a few shadows in the kitchen area and the last one..is Our Flag..Since we are celebrating Memorial Day this weekend. Thought it would be nice.

Also, it is the first shadow I ever put on Hey Harriet's blog..It was last year. So as you see, it has twice the meaning.

I would like to just say..God Bless All The Troops that fight for Our Freedom..Sometimes, they are forgotten. I mean every man/woman, not just in America..but every country that we stand united against evil..Where would we be without them?

Apple Tree For Fingerprint Friday..

I have to use this old apple tree for Pampering Beki's Fingerprint Friday. I put pictures up the other day, but it is all in bloom now and I have never seen anything like it. In all our years here, it never looked like this.

To me, it is such a beautiful fingerprint from God, it was worth another blog. The tree is leaning to the side and every year it leans a little more.

You know what? There is kind of a lesson here. Many would have cut this tree down, because it is old and the apples are not good for eating. But look at how much joy/beauty it is giving us this year? Think of what would have been lost? Nothing is worthless in God's Eyes. We all have a purpose, old or young..

My pictures did not do it justice, you just can't believe the beauty. Now the blosoms are falling and there will be white pedals all over the yard.

A Nice Clean Dinning Room...Ahhhhhh

Just to show you how hard I have been working. Here is a nice picture of our dinning room all cleaned up. Notice the two chairs by the pellet stove. Hubby and I have a hard time moving from there. As I have said before..This home was built in 1832 and owned by a Sea Captain, it still needs so much work. There are four fireplaces, three working. A very happy home and has wonderful memories. As I clean, will take a picture. Of course that may take me all year..I am not as young as I use to be..keep that in mind.

Almost missed today.I have been out straight with cleaning and didn't get many pictures. Does this give you a hint, how I have let house cleaning slide? Anyway, I am here Hey Harriet to join in the fun..

Just a quick shot from the patio door, then our red cabbage plants. Aren't they cute? Wouldn't dare put them in the ground yet. Then one chimney gave a nice shadow on the roof..Kind of pretty with the cloud behind it.

Fingerprint Friday..

Have been so busy cleaning this house, I let the week slip by..but wouldn't let Fingerprint Friday be missed..Pampering Beki has this every Friday and always a happy time..make sure you check out her blog for other wonderful fingerprints.

I had a chance to watch the Humming Bird and tried so hard to catch him. Knew it was a "him" since he had a ruby throat..These birds are so much fun..and such a cute fingerprint from God..I know this, they bring me great joy.

The funny thing about these birds..they come back every year and look for the feeder..the reason he is sitting in the rose bushes..he is making sure no one and I mean no one, gets near the food..if they dare, he will come right after them. Hope you enjoy our little friend.

Shadow Shot Sunday..

I missed last weeks Hey Harriet's Shadow Shot..have to admit, felt like something was missing in my life..
Here I am, this week, and all is well with the world..
Have a shadow of the front of the house. Then in the kitchen area and the last is a mud puddle with the tree reflection. Now I know, this isn't a shadow and I did something like this before, but you have to admit, it is interesting and kind of a shadow. I call it "shadow reflection".

Fingerprint Friday..

I have been watching a little tree swallow, getting ready to make a nest in my bluebird house. I took three pictures from a distance, you can see the little bird on top.

What a happy Fingerprint from God, this little bird is. It is so nice to see the birds return and to hear them every morning. It was a long winter and I am enjoying every little peep they make.

Mercury Retrograde

Today we start a Mercury Retrograde..till May 30th when the planet will go direct.

I like to put this up,every now and then..even though Mercury goes retrograde, about three times a year..I think this year it will be four.

Sometimes, things are a bit slowed down..Computers can cause trouble, trips can be delayed and watch signing contracts..just read them very carefully.
Anything with a "re" in front of it, is now a good time to do..Mercury represents the mind/communications..

It is interesting to write down things and see what happens..I have to be truthful, so many things happen everyday in our lives.. I would swear the planets are having a field day with my Astrology Chart.

Mrs. Pinkham a wonderful neighbor we had and known to us as Granny Pinkham ,told my girls the way May Day was celebrated. You would put a basket of flowers on people's doorsteps, ring the bell and hide. Waiting for them to open the door and get the flowers. My girls did this every year with love and delight. My Wedding Crown..

I was doing some cleaning and packing things away..came across my wedding crown..Isn't it pretty? All our girls wore this on their wedding day. Just a happy memory, I felt like sharing with my blog. Now will put it in a good spot, for the granddaughters weddings.
