Took them out of my shed and will put them where they belong in the yard.

Fingerprint Friday.
These pictures were taken at sunset.
To me they are beautiful Fingerprints from God.
No matter how many times I take pictures of the sky, I am always in awe.
You know, the best things in life are free.
Be sure to visit Pampering Beki's blog for other wonderful Fingerprints.

Shadow Shot Sunday.
Morning Sky.
What a beautiful sky, this morning..It went by so fast, I was lucky to get a couple of pictures.
I have no shame. There I am, in the front yard, hair all over the place, p.j's/bathrobe on just to catch these two pictures. Lucky we have bushes in the front, so I could hide behind them.
You have to admit, it was worth the humiliation.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Fingerprint Friday.
Trying to pick something for Fingerprint Friday, so I went through all my pictures and thought the moon would be a wonderful Fingerprint from God. What would we do without it? It controls the tides and some plant their gardens by the moon. There are so many things that I am not even aware of that the moon controls. This I do know, it is beautiful to look at and gives me a peaceful feeling.
Be sure to visit Pampering Beki for many other Fingerprints from God.

Happy Anniversary in Heaven..
This blog is dedicated to my Mom..it is six years today, since she passed away. She was a wonderful mom and full of fun.
In this picture, she is in Hawaii, a place she always wanted to visit.
No matter how long a person is gone, the love they gave you will live on and they will always be missed.
As I put on her stone.."Till we meet again, Mom"..
Till next time, keep looking up.

Shadow Shot Sunday
Took a ride the other day and remembered my camera..Here are a few water pictures with shadows. One thing on the coast of Maine, you will always see water when driving. Coves are all over the place, where the ocean travels in/out.
Some spots there is fresh water that you follow into salt water. Very interesting and beautiful scenery. Have to admit, one of the most beautiful states I have ever lived in..now if we could get the snow to fall only inland , for the skiers, we would be set.
Be sure to go to Hey Harriet's blog for other shadow shots.

Follow up on Irena Sendler.

Here is a movie on Irena..the woman I wrote about on Fingerprint Friday.
I tell you, just looking at her face, below in yesterday's writing..tugs at my heart. What a courageous woman..This movie will be a must in this house.
What an example for today..how to give of ones self, instead of how to get more things for ones self.
Till next time, keep looking up.

A Story that I did on Fingerprint Friday Worth Repeating.

This story is going around in an email and I had to use it for Fingerprint Friday.
There recently was a death of a 98 year old woman named Irena Sendler.
During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an "ulterior motive"..She knew what the Nazi's
plans were for the Jews (being German). Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger children).
She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the childrens noise.
During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 children. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the children she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard.
After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived and reunite them with their family. Most had been gassed. The children she helped got placed into foster family homes or were adopted.
In 2007 Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize..She was not selected..Al Gore won, for a slide show on Global Warming.
Now tell me, do you honestly have any respect for the Nobel Peace Prize? It is a joke. I will say this, Irena might have lost the Nobel Peace Prize, but what she gained in heaven will beat any prize on earth.
What a beautiful fingerprint from God and I am so happy to share this story with everyone, she is my hero.

An Interesting Picture.
.jpg)
This shot is from the Hubble site at Nasa.gov..
The scientist don't think this is a comet and they are not sure what it is.
It is 90 million miles from earth. They have never seen anything like this before in the heavens..it has an x pattern.
Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Sometimes, we think we know it all and yet, there is so much we don't understand.
A closed mind, is a dead mind.

Shadow Shot Sunday.
Here we are Shadow Shot Sunday.
Can you see the cat in the bushes? Didn't dare get to close. I know it isn't a great shadow, but just thought you would enjoy seeing her again. The back yard with the snow melting, gave a little shadow. Last but not least, daughter's Yorkie..Clarence. What a sweet, loving dog. Only a pup, but he is so much fun for the children and doesn't he love them.
Be sure you visit Hey Harriet's blog and check out the shadow shots.
Till next time, keep looking up.
This picture broke my heart..

I could not let this picture go by without saying something. I am so embarrassed by our president and the way they had the Dalai Lama leave the White House.
The Dalai Lama being a very humble man, would never say a word.
What is happening to respect? This picture really makes me wonder what is going wrong in America and the people we have elected to represent us.
My blog is not political, but this upset me very much. This is a holy man and to be treated this way, I am horrified.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Fingerprint Friday.
Now this is what I call a Fingerprint from God..
Our oldest daughter, letting her nieces braid her hair. I was laughing so hard, watching the show.
As you can see, it was a little painful, but she wouldn't complain. Now that is love.
Be sure to visit Pampering Beki's blog for more great fingerprints.

Interesting Sign.
Years ago, I saw this sign and couldn't make it out, which is what it is suppose to do. Make you think. Then I saw what it meant and had to make one. I don't think it is hard to read with my pictures, but it did confuse many people. Like they say, it is very similar to life..you can't seem to work things out and all of a sudden you realize what is missing..
Till next time, keep looking up.

Shadow Shot Sunday.
See the cat prints in the snow, from the cat we feed that won't let me near her. Just so everyone knows, we did get her fixed when she was young. Maybe she remembers how I had to catch her to take her to the vet and never has forgiven me.
Indian shutters in the living room. Husband painted them and I was lucky to catch a shadow.
Most of my shadows are around home. I don't like to travel much in winter.
Check out Hey Harriet's blog for more shadows. There are so many great shots.
Till next time, keep looking up.
