I was enjoying myself today watching the two male hummingbirds fighting over the feeder..They are so funny..They dive bomb each other. Then they sit in the rose bush and watch the feeder..If one goes to the feeder, the other comes after it.I tried to catch a few good pictures, but this was the best I could do with my camera.
They gave me great joy..Happy little guys, even if they don't want to share with each other.

Hummingbirds are so fun to watch as they dive around, you can only see them when they are feeding and that doesn't seem to be for long. Really loved your oriole photos too. I've been trying to put up my post, but blogger isn't cooperating today. I will keep trying! Smile today. :)
I love hummingbirds - I bought a new feeder this week - one of the swirly glass ones. The hummingbirds are almost iridescent - so pretty.
I've got to get one of these feeders or at least some flowers that attract them. On Saturday, my Mom had a hummingbird following her around while she watered the lawn. It was enjoying a bath in the stream of water. I totally missed that photo opportunity.
And thank you for asking: My Mother is hanging in there. The chemo has slowed down the cancer for which I'm ever grateful.

Oh my goodness that first photo is perfect! Those suckers are so speedy I'm impressed you caught them at all let alone that close up :-)
I'm praying for some sunshine soon my friend. Only 6 weeks until we head out for sunnier, yet much browner, pastures lol
