Was having a hard day and on the back deck..Talking a mile a minute to God, wondering where He was and what is going on..Well, over head I hear honking and look up..Yep, there they are a flock of geese ..it took me by such a surprise..I started laughing and got over myself..Then at night..trying to get a shot of the moon, it came out as a heart..Somehow I moved the camera when taking the picture.. I call it...Love from heaven.
This blog is for all of you going through a rough time..just remember. "Keep looking up.".
Till next time, keep looking up.

Our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
Here is a picture of our 50th Anniversary, with our five daughters..The girls/husbands gave us a wonderful luau..
It is hard to believe 50 years have gone by..and when I look at the girls..I can't believe it.
They are our greatest achievement on earth..and never have we been prouder. And may I say..they all married wonderful men, that we love very much...not to forget our 10 grandchildren..We have been blessed...

Easter Lily Returns.
Was so surprised to see this Lily blooming on the side of the house. The grass was growing up and needed cutting..but up pops this beautiful Lily.
Then I remembered, one of my daughters bought me a Lily for Easter and I was told to cut it down, after the bloom dies and plant it..Well, what a shock, for there it is, and in September.
These little happy surprises in life are what keep us going.
I was always told, life can be very upsetting today, but just wait a minute..it can change in a blink..

New Beginnings.
What a way to start the day. The pictures don't give the sunrise justice...It was beyond beautiful.
I have been so busy, this month has gotten away from me. Here we are the end of September, oh my.
Then I take a look at this morning sky and feel the love of God surround me..It was breath taking.
Just think what I would have missed, if I didn't take a peek out the window..Isn't that the way with life?
Till next time, keep looking up.

9/11..A Tribute
This is a day I will never forget..Being from Long Island, New York..I live this tragedy every year.
The picture of Fr. Mychal always leaves a pain in my heart..he was considered the first victim of the Twin Towers..He was killed by falling debris while giving Last Rites to a victim.
9/11 is burned into everyone's soul..caused by hate..a hate I will never understand. A hate perpetrated on innocent victims, going to work/taking a tour/visiting the Twin Towers.
May God Bless America.

There is an article on American Thinker today by Lloyd Marcas about the Jumpers from the Twin Towers and how they are forgotten..Dear God, what brave people they were. Think about it.??? God Bless each and every one of them..

What a happy beginning to this day..a beautiful rainbow in the back yard..It was a surprise, since they never are in the back yard.
I had fun with the panoramic shot..it is three of the same in one. You have to click on it. It didn't come out that great, but a fun experiment.
Again, I am so thankful for the beauty God sends us..The thing is..I sometimes forget about it, I am so busy with life..and then something so beautiful appears and keeps me humble..
Till next time, keep looking up.

Field Day At Oldest/Son-In-Law's Home.
Our Oldest Daughter/Son-in-law have what we call Field Day, every Labor Day weekend. They go all out for it. It is loaded with games/prizes/food/drink..Just a wonderful time to get together. Even the neighbors join in.
It thrills my husband and I just to see all the fun they have and I might say..We joined in a few games too.
They play the Olympic song and have a podium and give medals for the winners..Gold/Silver/Bronze..
You know, the simple things in life are so much fun..The kids don't need their computers/Ipods and what ever other gadgets there are..to enjoy life..but we all know what is important..Love/Respect for one another..Thank you God for the Blessing of Our Five Daughters, who in turn with their wonderful Husbands are passing down Your Blessings to our 10 grandchildren.. because they know what is important in this life.

Lou Xiaoying
This picture is from EuroPic (CEN)..
I read about this woman in China, who is now suffering from kidney failure and was so touched by her deeds on earth, I just had to share this little story with you.
She and her husband made a living recycling rubbish. Well, when picking through the rubbish she would find abandoned babies. They had saved 30 babies, while doing this job.
To me, this woman is a saint.. What a beautiful example of the human spirit..How easy it would be to leave the little babies in the rubbish, but that would never enter her mind. Her husband had to be a wonderful man too..They had two children of their own and adopted three of the abandoned ones and found homes for the rest.
Now just think about this story..picking rubbish for a living..the money couldn't have been that plentiful..yet she had room for these children. This is a couple that was doing God's work if ever there was one.
Just a beautiful story and wanted to share it with you.
Till next time, keep looking up

My Little Friend.
This summer is going by so fast and my blog has suffered. I have been busy with the garden and things in the house. Trying to catch up today..
Now these pictures of a Butterfly/Moth are so darn cute..Please click on the picture and see it close up.
I was shocked when I did. It looked like it was looking at me. It sat nice and still while I was taking pictures..what a wonderful gift..It gave me great joy and since I haven't been using my camera much either, a nice surprise.
Hope you all are well, will visit and I have missed you all.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Storm
This was the lightening we had in yesterdays storm..
The first picture, I opened the door and had my arm outside..the second, you can see my camera in the glass reflection..I closed the door..the noise was making me nervous..and the rain in the third shot looked just like snow, it was so heavy.
I am not a fan of thunder/lightening..My mom use to always tell me.."God was blessing the earth."..Well, that may be so..but the time she told me that..lightening hit three homes..so I am not sure where God's blessing will go and I try and keep out of His way.
The storm did break the humid weather..Today is very cool and crisp..At least you feel human again..
Till next time, keep looking up..
