Shadow Shot Sunday.

Using a picture of my paperweight. I used this before, but I think it made an interesting shadow.
Basketball hoop again. I put the ball in the hoop shadow. Only way I can get it there. Won't embarrass myself by trying to shoot a hoop.
Then my beautiful hibiscus on deck. The first bloom of the summer and to think, fall will be starting next month. Oh my.
Be sure to visit Hey Harriet's blog for great shadow shots.
Till next time, keep looking up.

I saved this picture from the Telegraph.co.uk. It was taken in Medicine Bow, Wyoming.

Sometimes, it is good to get a laugh, especially the way things are going in this world.

Till next time, keep looking up.

Fingerprint Friday.

Well, Fingerprint Friday is here and I have missed a couple of weeks.

Birds are always a wonderful Fingerprint from God. First the Oriole was at the feeder, then the Humming Bird zoomed in fast. The last picture is blurry, but I had to move fast.

The Humming Bird was waiting and zooming around the Oriole, but he wouldn't move, so there she went on the other side of the feeder to eat. Now, this is a picture. Seeing the two of them at the feeder at the same time.

I guess this picture could be used as a lesson. Look what happens when we all give respect and try to get along with one another. PEACE.

Be sure to visitk Pampering Bei's blog for more wonderful Fingerprints from God.

Till next time, keep looking up.

Shadow Shot Sunday.

Caught a few shadows this noon..trying to find different things to take pictures of.
Walking around I found a big rock with tall grass shadow, then the barn door off the porch and three large shells on a stump with a shadow of grass and me.
Make sure you check out Hey Harriet's blog for more shadow shots. I can't believe how many are doing this now and what great shadows they all have.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Here are a few pictures of the Fort/lobster boats/yacht..from the Craft Show we were in. It is quite the event. The lobster boat races are something to see.
You may wonder why would a lobster boat want to be racing.
These men/woman face the elements when lobstering and sometimes they have to be able to get to shore in a hurry. These boats can move and this race gives them a chance to show just how fast. Very impressive, I might add.
It was a warm two days with humidity very high. Something, I don't do well in..then the breeze from the ocean kicked in. The beauty down in this area is something to see. I have to admit, Maine is one of the most beautiful states I have seen. It has something for everyone.
I am not a fan of winter, but that is me.
Well, we did really good at the fair and will do it again, if given the chance.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Bless My Son-in-Law...

You will never believe how many viruses were on this computer..I ran the scan and nothing came up. Well, my son-in-law, a computer engineer...downloaded a free virus scanner and Lord have Mercy...over 20 viruses were there..No wonder the computer was out in space.
I couldn't do a thing and was ready to put the disc in and clean the computer right out and take everything off, even if I lost some of my things.
The free virus scanner is called ClamWin..It is a free download and wonderful.
Sharing this with all of you, just in case you want to try it.
Now, I will start back blogging and later tell you about the Craft Show this weekend. Have to get some pictures up.

Till next time, keep looking up.

Took a couple of pictures. One of a spider web after the rain, thought it was interesting and my little bee friend on a flowering bush.

Just trying to keep this blog active. I have been very lax visiting everyone. I will get better soon.

Even our shop has nothing in it. Will be changing that too. We do have a show this weekend and hope to get on the right path again. This show is near the ocean, on the grounds of and Old Fort. They have the big lobster boat race there. You would be amazed at how fast these boat can move. So I hope to have good pictures.

Till next time, keep looking up

Shadow Shot Sunday.

The first picture looks like snow and a plant..Well, it isn't. It was on my patio table after the rain and thought it was a different kind of shadow. Table is clear glass.
Of course the roof gave a nice shadow and then the flag with trees..I hate to tell you how many times I go around this yard looking for shadows. I try and get different shots. Whenever I leave home, I forget the camera. Will go across the street next time, maybe I will find something different.
Visit Hey Harriet's blog..you will see great shadow shots.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Fingerprint Friday.

This little rose grows wild in our yard. No matter how many times I would take a picture, a bee would be there, in the roses. I took these last year and thought they were a cute Fingerprint from God. Some call this rose bush a pest, but I bet the little bee is happy to have found it.
Everything has a purpose.
For more great fingerprints visit Pampering Beki's blog.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Shadow Shot Sunday.

Well, the sun is out and I caught a few pictures. The angel on deck, the weeds against the house. Now there is something I can grow. Felt bad for St. Francis, since I haven't used him in awhile. He is in with the rose bushes and they gave a nice shadow. At least I didn't have to drag him around.
Be sure you go to Hey Harriet's blog and check out all the shadow shots.
Till next time, keep looking up.
