Fingerprint Friday

What a beautiful Fingerprint from God. A Robin. Their song is so happy in the spring.
This one, was in our apple tree and then flew to the ground. I was lucky to catch it with my camera.
There is something very peaceful listening and watching birds. What a Fingerprint they make.
I have to admit, they bring me great joy.
Be sure to check out Pampering Beki's blog for other Fingerprints from God. It makes you realize, how many things to be thankful for.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Bluets.

This is my happiest wild flower in spring..It covers many fields and we have them in our back yard. My pictures do not give them credit. They have a little blue around the edge of the flower.
They are tiny plants and look more like ground cover, but such a happy site in spring.
Ah, the beauty of God's gifts.
I have to be truthful. Since I am not a good gardener, I am very lucky to have wild flowers around.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Shadow Shot Sunday..

Caught a few shadows around home again..The lamp shade gave a nice shadow..I like the staircase one.Tell me, doesn't it look like something out of a scary movie? The girls always use to say this home had a happy ghost around.
Took a walk outside and not much sun, but the bushes gave a little shadow.
Just want to tell you all, I worked hard to get these shadows, without cheating.
Be sure to visit Hey Harriet's blog, for really wonderful shadow shots..
Till next time, keep looking up.

Fingerprint Friday.

As the sun was setting, it was so beautiful I am using it for Fingerprint Friday.
The changes in the sky were wonderful, as always. This is my favorite Fingerprint from God. Something about clouds/sun and the way things change from picture to picture.

Osprey Overhead.

I was late with the camera and the Osprey were very high..the water is towards town and they do enjoy a good fish meal. Sometimes, they go right over the house. This time they were circling around in the sky.
Was happy to get the pictures anyway..Always a thrill to watch them.

Till next time, keep looking up..

Wonders Never Cease

When you live in Maine..you just never know what to expect in the spring..Snow this morning.
Of course it is very light, but come on, this is spring. Gee, I wonder what Al Gore would think about this?

Little Church in Town.

Since we have no leaves on the trees yet, caught this picture of a little church in town.
We have a beautiful view here, since we sit high. Looks like it is in the woods, but the main road runs right in front of it, you just can't see it from here.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Shadow Shot Sunday.

Have a few shadows around the yard..First is our little lilac bush, just getting leaves and up against the foundation. Then front yard bush, looked pretty with house..Night light against the wall and last was reflections/but some shadows on the clap board. Each window had a reflection and couldn't resist putting it up..
Make sure you visit Hey Harriet's blog for more wonderful shadows.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Fingerprint Friday.

Homemade bread is my Fingerprint from God..There is something so wonderful about making bread and breaking bread with those you love. The Staff of Life..Will share this recipe with you all, it is one of the best I have ever made. Came from Out of Alaska's Kitchens published in 1948 by members of Crippled Children's Association..found on The Cutting Board.

Sweet Eagle Brand Bread.

I cup Eagle Brand (condensed) Milk (1 can)

3 Cups hot water

2 TBS butter

Mix together and let cool

Add 1 pack yeast to 1/2 cup warm water. Let dissolve. After dissolved add to above mix.

Plus 6 cups flour with 1TBS salt. Mix good and let rise till double in size. (about 1 hour).

Now add 6 to 7 cups more flour for kneading. Knead the dough until it is very smooth and will not stick to board (about 10 minutes)..Let rise again, until double in size. Then cut into four loaves. Put in greased loaf pans and let rise again.

Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes..I usually tell when they are done by the color. Every body's oven is different.

A different kind of Fingerprint from God, but since God broke bread with His Apostles, I thought it would be a nice Fingerprint for everyone.

Fingerprint Friday/Good Friday.

For Fingerprint Friday I am using a picture of Christ..Since it is Good Friday.

To think all He taught was, to love one another, to forgive one another and to help one another.

Isn't it amazing how frightened people are of these words that they still want to silence Christians?

Something to think about this Good Friday..
