Fingerprint Friday.

Today, I was going around the yard and took a few pictures for Fingerprint Friday.
The trees and sky are always my favorite.
The sun was just coming up and the jet streams were crossing, like another picture I took. Always reminds me of the cross..so I had to take a picture. Everywhere we look are Fingerprints from God..these are just a few.
Be sure to visit Pampering Beki's blog and see other beautiful Fingerprints.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Our Old Shed

Husband is trying to save the shed on our property. You know, this shed has such a cute look.
The size of the windows tell me, it wasn't just a shed. We hope to put new windows in. It has two rooms inside, seperated and in the center, looks like a bathroom spot. Very interesting.
In later years, someone used it for chickens, I think..but that is not what it was. Maybe we will find a buried treasure here..ha, ha..
Anyway, the project is started. Won't finish till next year. Will make it a cottage..and cute it will be.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Shadow Shot Sunday..

I have to admit..had a very tough time with shadows, this week.
First one, is from the Halloween lights over my sink. Second, is coming in the den, through the Indian shutters and the last is from the window on the rug. It is an odd one, the rug is a nice green and came out b/w.
Hasn't been the greatest day for shadows. Rain, rain and more rain. Guess I should be quiet, it could be snow.
Visit Hey Harriet's blog, for more shadows shots.
Till next time,
keep looking up.

Fingerprint Friday.

I am using some of our grandchildren for Fingerprint Friday.
This is at a baby shower for our youngest daughter. Just look at the young nieces/nephews right into it. They all gave something from themselves to her..It was beautiful. I am not sure who was more excited, daughter/grandchildren.
You know, this is a special fingerprint to me. It shows all the love we share and what is important in life. I can't stress this enough, it isn't "things"..they are a temporary fix. Pure love lasts through everything and that is what is important through all our trying times in life.
So this Fingerprint Friday, I send you all "Love", the secret to life. Peace/Happiness always follow.

Shadow Shot Sunday.

The shadow of the clouds/bushes made a nice shot, in the morning. Then the sun hitting the curtains in the living room..and last, a light reflection on the ceiling in my studio. Did a little different this week.
Be sure to visit Hey Harriet's blog and check out other shadow shots. Who would have thought, looking for shadows could be so much fun? Thanks Hey Harriet.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Getting Cold.

Just to share the cold weather with everyone..29 degrees this morning..
Frost all over the place. Pretty, but makes me sad. Winter is on its way and we really didn't even have a nice summer. Oh well, just another day in Maine.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Shadow Shot Sunday.

Well, I have been sloppy with my Halloween shadows..I can't remember where I put my decoration I used last year. Today, I give you my best shot..Finished decorating the kitchen area and took pictures..They are spooky and fun. Moved the camera so I would get the look just right.

I know you are all wondering why I put decorations up, when there are only the two of us here.

Well, when the grandchildren visit and to be truthful..in the morning/evening I light the lights for the two of us. Second childhood.

Be sure to visit Hey Harriet's blog for wonderful shadow shots..join in the fun..

Till next time, keep looking up.

Fingerprint Friday.

These little flowers are all over the place in the fall.
I believe they related to the Aster.
They bloom in the fall, here in Maine. It is almost the final wild flower before winter.
Such a beautiful fingerprint from God. Always happy to see them, but sad too..kind of bittersweet, since I know winter is coming right behind them.
Check out Pampering Beki's blog for more Fingerprints from God.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Harvest Moon Shots..My Way..

I am always trying to get beautiful moon shots..but hit my hand both times on the window sill.
Well folks, the first two speak for themselves.
The last I finally got something half way decent.
Till next time, keep looking up.

A Sad Picture.

This beautiful pine tree gave me a few lovely photos.
My husband asked me to look at the window and if I saw anything different..I almost cried. They are cutting the tree down.
I am sure they have their reasons and the tree did look like it was dying. It was just the shock of seeing it go. It is near a home and probably very dangerous, but will miss my beautiful tree.
Nothing ever stays the same..isn't that a true statement?
Till next time, keep looking up.

Shadow Shot Sunday.

Did good this week on shadows. I am one proud lady. Took my camera shopping and remembered I had it with me. That alone is a first. Fed the seagull and he was very willing to pose for me. Then I got a nice picture of a fish trying to join the other fish in my painting. Can't say I blame him, the painting is of tropical waters.

Now check out Hey Harriet's blog for other shadow shots.

Till next time, keep looking up.
