Even though my mom isn't here, on earth..I am wishing her Happy Mother's Day..I know she hears me..
What a wonderful mom..and because of her, I so loved being a mom..She made holidays fun and I carry many things forward, that she did..

To me the greatest gift on earth, being a mother..and realizing it..Doesn't that say it all?

Easter Bunnies

My little bunnies are just waiting for my grandchildren..All will be here for Easter.

Our Easter celebration is a beautiful one..many things my mom did, I do, to make it special.. making Easter bread and special dishes to be served..
The greatest gift is being together and knowing what is important..money can't buy these things.

Very thankful for God's Blessings..

Snow And More Snow...

Haven't written in awhile..this weather is getting to me.
Here are a couple of pictures to let you know what we are dealing with ..Never in all my years here, have I seen back to back snow storms..it has been very scary..the snow banks, when you try to drive, are frightening..you have to ease out slowly, in case a car is coming.
The thing that is so hard about this snow, the temps are so cold, it doesn't get a chance to melt..my next worry will be my basement and water..Oh my, it is never ending..
But much to be thankful for...I have food and heat..

 What a nasty snow storm..lost electric for about two hours. Another storm coming in a few days..

The First Snowfall...

Here is the first snowfall..It is beautiful looking..even though I am not a big fan of winter, there is something so pretty about snow on everything.

Shed Burning..

I had a chicken coop on the property. that the insurance company was giving me grief about. I invited the Volunteer Fire Department to come in and use it for practice and burn it down..which they did..My pictures do not give the work they did justice..what a group of wonderful volunteers..
Well, since George has gone, I have had nothing but annoyances..and got this one taken care of..Bless our Fire Department..

Went to a fun class, yesterday..making beach glass jewelry . Just did the two pieces, but will try more.
You can do so much with the beach glass and the more you work with it, the better and more creative you will get..Something new for me and a little bit different. New Beginnings....
