The Walk Continues..

Now we go around the bend and pass the Reed Mansion..Quite a beautiful site. Then again pass the water, little dam..look to the side and you will see where they had to do quite a bit of work..The
ground was sliding into the water..and next would have been the houses..There were a couple of shacks/garages that almost went down the side of the hill..had to be taken down. I know this, I still would not care to live there..then we continue on home..It is quite the walk..about 1.6 miles..but remember the hills..it makes it a small workout..Course we had snow yesterday and couldn't go out ..Today should be good..One thing I won't do, walk if there is any ice..

Till next time, keep looking up..

It really is a lovely walk...even with those hills!

I wouldn't want to be out walking on ice either...

You're so lucky living so close to this much natural beauty. It truly is inspiring.

What a beautiful walk that would be, but it makes me cold just looking at the pictures! I love our Arizona weather (still in shorts)

Beautiful walk! I try to walk everyday... *its my only exercise,* but it isn't near as picturesque as yours!

Hello Rosie,

Your walk a very good for your body, specially the knees §:-))
I do love walkings. Me & hubby treks every now & then, although snowy.
It makes more harder then your muscles works more.

The only thing that the mid-age lady *wink is to be careful every step they make.
As it's so quick to do the wrong step, then this can be a problem.

Just to let you know that the area where you live is quite cute & calm.
Hugs for this happy Tuesday.

I'm enjoying your walks much more than my walks. With your walks I don't huff & puff & perspire!

Can't you just put on your skates when it's snowing? The photos may be blurry because you'll be going faster ;D

Yeah walking in the ice is just dangerous. If there is ice I personally do little to nothing (no walking or driving!). Your area is so picturesque!

So nice to share the walk with you. I love hills, regardless of the huffing and puffing I do:):)

i 've enjoyed seeing the buildings in the last two posts they look so upright and tall.
(that doesn't make much sense but they just have a different language to the buildings here : )

The walk you take is beautiful. The houses look so different from the ones in California.
