Shadow Shot Sunday.

Well, the sun is out and I caught a few pictures. The angel on deck, the weeds against the house. Now there is something I can grow. Felt bad for St. Francis, since I haven't used him in awhile. He is in with the rose bushes and they gave a nice shadow. At least I didn't have to drag him around.
Be sure you go to Hey Harriet's blog and check out all the shadow shots.
Till next time, keep looking up.

I am sure St Francis will rid you of all those weeds if you ask him nicely. Although he would probably share my love of weeds, as that's what we cultivate mostly in our garden right now!

Oh I did wonder whatever happened to your St. Francis. There he is! He looks very content to be hanging out amongst your rose bushes :)

Glad to hear you've finally had some sunshine this week. Yay!

Shadows grow like weeds
against the white clapboard house—
at sundown, they die.

Weeds make beautiful shadows, just like flowers. Happy SSS!

Thank you, yes I have updated the blog, I have added the top picture, I did long stitch embroidery, I bought as a kit, turned out really beautiful, have not done one in a while. The circular needles are great, I love them, I choose acrylic 8ply in shades of pinks purples whites, mix colored. I really like and they are easy to knit with, smaller in length and easier to hold, just practicing using the knit stitch, not sure what I will end up with, but I like so far, have done about 9 rows. I should post up some pics of my practiced knitting :) Have a great day..cya Monika

That first shot looks like the shadow of a kitty ... I had to look hard to figure out that it wasn't! Great catch!

You can never tell weeds form prize blooms in the shadows. Great shots - love St Francis - you've just reminded me of my laughing Buddha who may be hidden in the rhodedendrons - oops.

We'd have to say that St. Francis looks like he's trying to avoid you there, hiding in those roses!!
