Old Fashioned Iris.

What a happy site, two little iris flowers..These flowers were here when we bought the house and with my terrible gardening skills, I almost lost all of them..I get a weed whacker in my hand and everything goes down. I don't mean to, but I get carried away..Since I have not used the whacker, these two little flowers came up.
Well, now I am going to try and do things differently..will work with grass cutters by hand. Remember.....
It is never too late, to learn something good..

Till next time, keep looking up.

Beautiful looking iris you have there...I mistakenly called an iris a lily on a post, and blogger wouldn't let me edit it so I learned that lesson (proofread better.) So glad we are never too old to learn something new...my kids never let me forget how old I am. Smile today. :)

We have irises as well and I think they have multiplied over the years, so hopefully if you do not whack them you will get more every year.

An excellent reminder! Not only your words but seeing the flowers themselves right? Its nice to see some pretty foliage seeing as though its cloudy & gray again this summer. I thought June gloom only happened in southern California??? :-)

Hope you're having a great week, I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone for real once we're moved and settled in!
