What a terrible spring this has been for the south..So sad to see what the tornadoes have done.

It has been wet and chilly here, but I have no right to complain..Praying for all that have suffered in the south..

Many question how authentic it is, but I don't.

This to me is a picture of Christ and shows all the suffering He went through, by the marks left on the cloth..

In today's time, He is still being crucified..Many are trying to stop the Christmas season, His birth, and now they go after Easter, His death..but always remember He will come again.

Gee, I wonder what all the nay sayers will do then? Let nothing get in the way of your love of Him..Life is not easy and the only way to have Peace, is following His will..Not ours..

Clouds After The Storm.

We have been having storms all over the south and then it heads to the north..We had the winds and rain, thank the Lord, we were spared the tornadoes. These clouds were at the end of the day, after the storm left..actually the pictures didn't do them justice..but you can see how beautiful they were..

Very thankful the storm has gone, it did so much damage across the country..

I had to laugh when I saw these clouds..They reminded me of the Pyramids..You have to admit, they are pretty neat..

Now I have to admit, I didn't believe it when they said "SNOW"..thought, no way, has to be rain..

You know I just came across this picture from a trip to Maui..Every time we visit there, I visit Buddha..Such a beautiful statue. But the reason I put it here is a saying that came from Buddha.."Hate is like a hot coal, it only burns the one holding it"..

Doesn't that make you think? Wow, how true..To me hate is like a cancer, it eats you away very slowly and causes so much pain.

Just a little thought for today..since there seems to be such unrest in the world lately..May we all spread a little love..

Springtime In Maine.

They said snow yesterday and I thought, it couldn't happen..We had 60 degrees the other day.

Well, this is what I saw this morning..As pretty as it looks..I want spring back.

Beer Bread...

Did you ever make Beer Bread? You know it is fun and quick..You can do many things with it..add different herbs/cheese or what every is your fancy..I wrote this recipe once before, but well worth a repeat.

Beer Bread

3 Cups Self rising flour
3 Tablespoons sugar
1 12oz. beer
Mix and put in greased bread pan. Smooth out top with wet fingertips.
Bake 325 for 40/50 minutes.

No self rising flour..here is how to make it.
3 Cups of reg. flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt

This is fast and fun..Be creative..

St Patrick's Day Is Near...

Sending love and blessings to all, from my Irish Angel..

I always find the story about St. Patrick so interesting..

As a child, we always use to think he drove the snakes from Ireland..but as I got older I realized that was a myth..no snakes in Ireland.

St.Patrick wasn't even Irish, but English..He was kidnapped as a boy and a slave in Ireland for 6 years. It was all heathen country pagan Druids..He escaped only to dream years later he must go back to Ireland and that he did..When he died in 461a.d., he had founded 300 churches, baptized 120,000 believers..His use of the Shamrock was to teach the Holy Trinity..

People would question..How can the Father, Son and Holy Ghost be one?..Well, look at the Shamrock and the three leaves, yet all are from one stem.. I must say, one of my favorite stories..and it always helped me understand the Holy Trinity..Happy St. Patrick's Day to all...

Snow Spirit??

Now, if I were a good story teller, I would say in these picture we now see the "Snow Spirit" leaving Maine..But the fact is..I caught the snow falling off the pine trees..does give a little ghostly look, wouldn't you say?

Here We Go Again.

It is beautiful, but I am so tired of this weather..We have two more storms coming Monday/Tuesday. Everytime we get a little warmer, I get excited..thinking, "Spring"..

If it isn't this computer, it is the weather..Guess the stars and I are not on the same page. I know Mercury will retro in March..but my computer is out of whack now..so much for Mercury. Ha!

These pictures were taken last year, but they still have their beauty. The pine tree has since been cut down..I felt so sad to see it go, but its time was passed. Of course it is like everything in life.."A time to live and a time to die." But if we leave a beautiful fingerprint, we never die.

Things Are Getting Serious.

The deck roof doesn't have a metal roof, so the snow won't slide off that easy..So up goes hubby to shovel it off..The roof rake only goes so far..I really don't worry much about the deck roof collapsing, because my son-in-law built it and it is strong..He told me when it was done, we could drive a truck on it..course we are not going to test fate.

More snow coming..tonight and Tuesday. Woe is me...
