My Little Catbird.

My little catbird on the hook..had to move fast, since he didn't stay long..They are so cute and enjoy the sound they make, just like a cat..

Old Fashioned Iris.

What a happy site, two little iris flowers..These flowers were here when we bought the house and with my terrible gardening skills, I almost lost all of them..I get a weed whacker in my hand and everything goes down. I don't mean to, but I get carried away..Since I have not used the whacker, these two little flowers came up.

Well, now I am going to try and do things differently..will work with grass cutters by hand. Remember.....

It is never too late, to learn something good..

Interesting Sunset..After all the Storms.

What an odd sunset..But it was an odd day, yesterday..Tornadoes hit Massachusetts and did quite a bit of damage. We were under tornado watch too. So thankful nothing happened here.

Then as the sun was setting, it was just a different kind of sunset, as you can see..

Well, today brings a new day and the sun is shinning brightly..Isn't this the way life is?

One day so dark and the next day we rise above the darkness..May we all have the sun shinning in

our lives.

Storm Moving In..

I kept watching the darkness creep in..and heard the thunder in the distance..sure enough..lightening/wind/rain..then it passed.

The morning sky was beautiful..but they are talking a bad storm this afternoon..At least, I took a few pictures this morning of the sun..Morning skies/evening skies are my favorite topic. It has been a long time getting a nice picture..thankful for these shots.

Nothing But Rain..

Okay, it is still raining and there is no change till Saturday, MAYBE...Now, I can take only so many pictures of the humming birds..but then I happened to catch another bird.

I was talking a mile a minute, to my husband, and didn't get an answer..came around the corner and now I know why he was so quiet..napping..He tells me he doesn't nap..Ha! The proof is in the picture..

Rainy weather is getting hard to take.

Humming Birds.

I was enjoying myself today watching the two male hummingbirds fighting over the feeder..They are so funny..They dive bomb each other. Then they sit in the rose bush and watch the feeder..If one goes to the feeder, the other comes after it.

I tried to catch a few good pictures, but this was the best I could do with my camera.

They gave me great joy..Happy little guys, even if they don't want to share with each other.

Bluets.

This is a happy little spring flower.

It is the first little wild flower that covers the back yard in spring..Such a pretty site..It is called Bluets..and if you click on the second picture, you can see it is tipped in a soft blue.

Spring is slow coming this year. Very cold mornings and we are having so much rain. Then you look out in the back yard and see the Bluets and they bring a smile to your face. Life is good.

Pope John Paul

Today Pope John Paul will be beatified..What a wonderful Pope he was..

Since my mother was Polish, her mom/dad came from Poland, he was always very loved in our family..I use to tease her and say he looked like a relative..

Just a word about his love and dignity..He could have stepped down when he was very sick, in the end of his reign..but continued to go on, even though he was having a hard time talking..Sometimes, I would marvel at him. The humility he had..

May he pray for all of us on earth, since our battle is not yet over and may we all live by his love for each other.

What a terrible spring this has been for the south..So sad to see what the tornadoes have done.

It has been wet and chilly here, but I have no right to complain..Praying for all that have suffered in the south..

Many question how authentic it is, but I don't.

This to me is a picture of Christ and shows all the suffering He went through, by the marks left on the cloth..

In today's time, He is still being crucified..Many are trying to stop the Christmas season, His birth, and now they go after Easter, His death..but always remember He will come again.

Gee, I wonder what all the nay sayers will do then? Let nothing get in the way of your love of Him..Life is not easy and the only way to have Peace, is following His will..Not ours..

Clouds After The Storm.

We have been having storms all over the south and then it heads to the north..We had the winds and rain, thank the Lord, we were spared the tornadoes. These clouds were at the end of the day, after the storm left..actually the pictures didn't do them justice..but you can see how beautiful they were..

Very thankful the storm has gone, it did so much damage across the country..
