First Grandchild's Prom..

Had to have a blog about my "first" granddaughter's prom..She is the one in the blue..her brother is on the left, my oldest grandson..and her best friend is in the other picture, both ready to dance the night away..Don't they all look wonderful?
Her name is Adara, and born in Maui, Hawaii...now in Maine. She will be graduating in June and that will be a great family event..Sometimes, I look at our girls and their families..and I am in awe...I always tell my husband, "we have had a bit of heaven on earth"...What pleases us the most, we all realize what is important, love, respect and living a decent life...When I look at Adara, Ryan, and Bridget, Adara's best friend..I am one proud grandmother..My oldest daughter and her wonderful husband have to be very proud for the job they did as parents.
This is the blog of a shameless, bragging grandmother...couldn't help myself.

Till next time, keep looking up.

You must be a great grandmother! My kids' grandmothers are in Singapore & Germany & we live in Tokyo. They would love to have a grandma in the same city!

Grandmas are supposed to be shameless braggers! And anyway, the whole purpose of my blog is to shamelessly brag about my daughters!! What a gorgeous dress your granddaughter is wearing!!!

There's nothing wrong with being a shameless, bragging grandmother ;) It's so sweet! I hope the girls had a beautiful night of dancing & having fun!

your granddaughter is a real sweetie..and I'll be a bragging grandma too if i have such a beautiful grand daughter :)

You are absolutely correct. There are times when I am home and everything's wrong, and then I start losing my temper at the children...minutes later, they'll come in unison and say sorry to me. My heart just melt and then I felt so bad.

I cant find you email, can you send an email to me (its in the blog) if you dont mind.

happy week ahaed

Great photos! These look so much like my prom picks because we had a very similar desk and backyard. We also took photos standing by the deck railing.
