I took this off the internet. A lovely May Basket.
Sending it to everyone for Fingerprint Friday.
Mrs. Pinkham a wonderful neighbor we had and known to us as Granny Pinkham ,told my girls the way May Day was celebrated. You would put a basket of flowers on people's doorsteps, ring the bell and hide. Waiting for them to open the door and get the flowers. My girls did this every year with love and delight. So for Fingerprint Friday, I send you all a May Basket, with my love and blessings for a wonderful year. You are all the best Fingerprints from God and don't forget it.
Pampering Beki has Fingerprint Friday every week. Make sure you visit her blog and see all the wonderful fingerprints.
Till next time, keep looking up.

My dad always used to say that if you washed your face in the May day dew you would stay young and beautiful for ever, (hence my beauty... ha ha only kidding)
Happy May day/Fingerprint friday to you : )
How sweet! Happy May Day to you too! You brought back some fun memories ... when I was growing up, we used to leave little handmade paper baskets of flowers on friends' door handles. ~*~

Happy May Day!!! Granny P. is probably passing out the flowers in heaven!! xo
At my son's elementary school there was a teacher who would dress the kids in old-style clothing and carry out this tradition on May Day. I always thought it was such a neat thing to do. Thanks for the "virtual" May basket!
A lovely May Day tribute :)
