A Nice Clean Dinning Room...Ahhhhhh

Just to show you how hard I have been working. Here is a nice picture of our dinning room all cleaned up. Notice the two chairs by the pellet stove. Hubby and I have a hard time moving from there. As I have said before..This home was built in 1832 and owned by a Sea Captain, it still needs so much work. There are four fireplaces, three working. A very happy home and has wonderful memories. As I clean, will take a picture. Of course that may take me all year..I am not as young as I use to be..keep that in mind.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Let's try this again...

The cozy warmth of the pellet stove...yeah I don't blame the two of you for not moving all winter!
Looking spiffy girl :-)

Aww, what a beautiful clean dining room! I love the chairs by the stove and would find it hard to move away from such a cozy spot also! :)

Oh Carolyn, tks for the peek and it's very nice..I am curious though what's on the ceiling...it look textured. I think this cleaning thing will take forever. We used to have a live in maid years ago, too much problems and with the kids growing up, we made do without one. So, we are the maid cum slave to the house..every weekend, it's cleaning time..hmmm...never ending. hugs/M

Thanks for the home tour, first time ever I seen §:-))

Just take your time... yeah, yeah! I say but here at home, I can't sit down just thinking how my SPA/laundry looks like. Ahhh... feels good when home is clean & fresh, isn't it?

Love to hear 3 of your fireplaces, still work though it's 177 yrs old.

Nice to see you again, Lady! Hope everybody is in the best of everything.

Hugs so much...

Just wanted to pop back over after getting your comment...there is nothing wrong with posting pictures of your clean dining room. Hey we aren't rock stars here so I personally applaud all the day to day achievements of the people I know! A clean dining room is more than I can say about my entire house right now so major kudos to you :-)

He he... thanks for peeping in, Lady? Yes, love everything but it doesn't mean I can get it all. Hubby will kick my a...s if I start to whine more.

I got my wish, the garden table and it's up this p.m. as an early Mother's Day. Europe have the MD on Sunday.

As you know, your lil friend is a dreamer and that's the only thing I could do for now.

Sooo glad your up & about! Likewise, still chilly & rainy in Sweden.

Am feeling better although a lil pain and a lil swollen. I start to work on Monday 50% & the week after. A good start,

Wish me to catch that star one beautiful day.

Hugs & love from D´Nics

Hi Carolyn!

What a nice home you have, with stove, I love stove, I have always want to have it, but not yet, who knows, one day?

Att my site, it was an competision about fiching in Gothenburg, at this day which we callet "Kristi himmelfärds dag", the day that Jesus Christ go to haven, which is today.

And thank you for asking, I´m very well, but I still looking for job. And I´m learning to live whith very litle mony.

It´s amasing what I can do to save mony. I´m baking my own bread, buy cheap fruit and make marmelade, use bags who the fruits and vegetables has been in to garbige, and so on.

But it have been fun to be able to buy for example an icecream when we are out at Town.

But I have much love to give away, and I´ve got a lot from my husband, children and grandchildren.

Sunwarm hugs from Irene
