Building the Empire State Building in NYC..

My daughter sent me an email of pictures when they built the Empire State Building in NYC. The year was 1930 and it took one year to do..Doesn't it make you wonder, how in 8 years the World Trade Center is still a big empty spot.

Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did.

Till next time, keep looking up..

Hello, wow great pictures, heights, that's another thing, except for gliding, different :), love the views, but my favorite is when they are all lined up for lunch, now that is a classic shot. Have a fabulous day and weekend :) Thanks for dropping by. Cya MOnikaROse

These are amazing photographs! I have seen one as a poster in a buddy's house (lunch on the beam). He says every time he thinks his job is stressful, he looks at the poster and decides his problems are nothing!

I kid you not, just looking at the photo of the guys sleeping on that beam made my palms go clammy and my stomach flip. What amazing shots to have captured but I'm happy for the 1990's lol!
