Shadow Shot Sunday..

I have to admit..had a very tough time with shadows, this week.
First one, is from the Halloween lights over my sink. Second, is coming in the den, through the Indian shutters and the last is from the window on the rug. It is an odd one, the rug is a nice green and came out b/w.
Hasn't been the greatest day for shadows. Rain, rain and more rain. Guess I should be quiet, it could be snow.
Visit Hey Harriet's blog, for more shadows shots.
Till next time,
keep looking up.

I think that for us here in the states, shadow shots may be hard to come by unless we can get really clever and creative!! These are great though -- rainy or not!

Have a great weekend!

The Halloween shadow is an eerie one, the light emitting an interesting spiky shadow above. The carpet looks neat as the shadow surrounds most with the light accenting the shadow - like a negative of a photograph. The opposite is what we see and enjoy!

I like the last one - it probably didn't stay long, therefore lucky to have got it in the bag!

I am always partial to those abstract, soft dapples of light like in the last shot you have. There's something about them that are so peaceful and graceful.

Even when the elements are against you, you always manage to capture some interesting shadows! I know you'll be able to in snow as well! Which I'm guessing is just around the corner ;)

Have a great week! I'll do a little sun dance for you. Hope it works!

Each has lovely shadows even though sunshine has been hard to come by. We could sure USE some of that rain where I live ;-)

Lights above the sink - love that idea! Do you put Christmas ones up too? Well, the lights certainly would chase away the blues for sure! Hope you get some sunshine this week!
