Fingerprint Friday.

Here is a cute Fingerprint..A Robin's nest.

It was blown out of a tree in the back yard and I just happen to find it. What an amazing work of art..No one taught this little bird how to build this nest, yet it knew how to do it, by instinct.
We as humans are giving instinct too..but do we follow it?
This is an interesting thought...

Check out Pampering Beki's blog for other Fingerprints from God..

Till next time, keep looking up.

Wow, how fun to see a nest up close! It is so very intricate. Think of the time and effort it takes to make that, one piece at a time carried in their beaks!

We had this debate in high school...do humans have instincts or only conscious decisions. When I was in labor with my first child, since I didn't know what I was doing, I stayed home till the very very end. He was born within an hour after finally going to the hospital.

During labor, I found myself on the bed, on my hands and knees, rocking back and forth some of the time. I read later in a book that primitive women do this. So I figured that was definitely my instincts.

What a wonderful fingerprint!

I love bird's nests. We have a lot of birds so I find them often and I always keep them. Each one is unique in the material used and in the way it is constructed. I have one that was made almost entirely of my German Shepherd's hair. He's gone now but his hair is still with me, finely woven into a tiny nest.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful nest!

Artsclay, what a wonderful story!

a nest is indeed a wonderful thing to find, it is such a perfect little piece of engineering and of course the very essence of recycling!

like the new look blog btw : )

Love this! We have tons of birds everywhere. One day, a small nest fell from a tree but no eggs or baby birds..so I did wondered what happened to both.
