Does Mother Nature fib...?

Mother Nature is toying with me..These pictures are of a robin..Now I was always told when you see them ,it is the first sign of spring..Either these birds got lost or someone made up the story..
Click on the picture and you can see, they are robins...Guess I will have to wait and see..but from the weather desk, we are in for some of the coldest temptures around..
Till next time, keep looking up...

We still have at least 100 robins here every day. Guess they don't know it's winter!

They HAVE to be lost, poor little things! We had a blizzard here in Ohio the past few days. The frigid below-zero temps are frightening. I worry about the birds. Where DO they go to keep warm in this weather?

I'm thinking these little robins are way off track. There is nothing whatsoever Spring-like about these pics. Makes me cold just to look at them! I really do not know how anybody copes with that type of extreme cold. Seeing these pics makes me think that I should never moan about winter over here...

Not that I'm promising not to moan about it. I certainly will be when it arrives ;)

I really know nothing about birds but maybe they were confused by such up and down swings? Considering just a couple weeks ago here it was close to 60 and now tomorrow not making it out of the teens. Welcome to New England winter right? I hope they manage to stay warm over the next couple VERY cold days. You too!

I don't know what is going on either. I have some trees budding down the street and woke up to 20 degrees today. Those poor trees are going to suffer.

Hope the robins are ok!
