Good Ole Shadow Shot Sunday...

I ventured out in the snow for my shadow shots..Yes, took my life in my own hands, since it is slippery everywhere I went. I did put salt/sand before me..What I do for, Hey Harriet and her fun Shadow Shot Sunday..Yes, even dragged the heart with me..I know the neighbors were watching and I am embarrassed..Why, you ask?

Well, I do try and present myself with a little dignity..Please, I am not a young pup and hate for them to think I am losing it..which, if I saw a neighbor doing the things I do, I might question their sanity..All this, for Hey Harriet...but I know she appreciates it..Ah, if you can't have a little fun in your life, what is the sense of living...even if you make a fool of yourself at times.

Till next time, keep looking up...

Oh I certainly do appreciate you risking your life & embarrassing yourself in front of your neighbours each week for these wonderful shadow shots of yours! I do I do I do!!! I love seeing the results of your crazy shenanigans, but what I wouldn't give to be one of your neighbours so I could enjoy giggling at during the process :) xo

I wondered how you guys dealt with walking on slippery snow. So you throw sand/salt on it. Interesting!

Ha ha... your neighbours thinks that time for Lady C, to an Home for ??? *wink kidding or?

Anyways, likewise! 2 of our neighbours asked us already why we've been around the house or even taking pix at their plants or roofs, verandas §:-)

Great shadow shots, Lady C! as always. Our snow now thaw but so b...y slippery! HATE it. Sorry for the words but can't help it.

P.S.
I tried your advice about the paper bag when having a headache. It seems, it helps! or am just mentality retard. Waaahhh... am retard & your insane? What a good combination of the two blogger friends? He he...

I send you an email regarding this, ok? Have a very cozy Sunday and enjoy!

Hug lots...

LOL good to read I'm not the only one doing funny things (in other people's eyes) just for a picture.

Love your shadowshots, especially the hearty one!

Try living in a pepto pink house and crawling around in your yard for the perfect shadow, especially at my age...there will be a stigma there I'm sure...I hope I live up to their expectations...ha!

You said it sister! Great shots, so happy you are still using the heart through Valentine's Day, it is so visually textural I love those shots. Against the snow it is so lovely. Glad you were as safe as possible. Spring is coming, just hang on a little longer!

Love the shots and love that your not afraid of "what they think". I'm lucky no one can see our house, it's back behind trees!!

Some great snow shots of shadows! It pays to get out and be foolish some times.

Yes, I certainly think of shadows all week!
Glad you did not tumble in the snow.
However snow does make for super photos.

On another note remember when MKate of La Vie est Belle fell and hurt her back taking blog photos?
We are quite batty but what fun it is!

My neighbors already know I'm nuts, lol! One of them is very nosey too. One year we planted a bush in our side yard. Not too unusual, right? Well, she calls to ask WHY we planted it! Ummm, cuz' we wanted to... At least our lives are interesting, right? Anyway, your pictures are great!

that's the one thing I can do without in winter - the slipping. My driveway is a steep slope and of course my car is always at the bottom!

great shadows

Shadows are really a wonderful subject to explore ... On snow, on planks, they look beautiful.

Thanks for visiting and commenting on my SSS post.

I'm glad you risked your dignity for the heart shot. It's lovely. At 61, I have finally come to the conclusion that dignity is over rated, anyway.

Rosie, what a beautiful heart shadow shot! I wished you could send some of your snow this way. Our weather is typical southern fare...in the 20's one day and back up to the 70's the next. xoxo
