What a wonderful way to start the day, seeing the sun coming up. There is something about the sun that makes you so happy. Have you noticed that? I think that is why Maine is so hard for me to live in. During the summer months, you have never seen such a beautiful state, but winter is not my kind of fun. Oh well, I am thankful I have a roof over my head, so I shouldn't complain. Enjoy the pictures and just think how lucky we are to have "Mr. Sun".

I rarely do see the sun rising here but I must agree it just makes one oh so happy... beautiful and inspiring warm pictures =)
It had been years since I'd seen a good sunrise so while we were visiting in southern California I amde a point to be up at 6am one morning. I tip toed to the coffee maker, poured a cup and watched the glowing ball of light peek out from behind the mountains out the back door. It was uplifting but looked NOTHING like these pictures! You have captured the true glowing essence of the warmth of the sun my friend. I am going to be smiling all day :-) Thank you!!!
I guess we take the sun for granted as we have them everyday, so I am glad you've got Mr Sun for company for now. Big hugs to you..everything with the family is good here, but I think the children have a gruelling schedule, it's always like this here. I have work up to my eye balls hehe (no kidding), dont even have time to do a post for now. The malls are very noisy and busy...all for the Chinese New Year celebration here.
