Steve Jobs

I just had to write a little tribute about Steve Jobs..I read about his sister giving his eulogy..I tell you..It was so beautiful. His last words were, as he looked past them.."Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow."..
It actually bought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful way to leave this earth. I wonder what he saw?
I remember when we took care of my dad at home. He looked at me and said, "soon my father will be coming for me." Knowing my grandfather was gone from this earth many years, I was taken back. The following week he died. It was the first time I experienced this from someone close to death.
To me these experiences Steve Jobs and my dad shared are filled with joy..and as our loved ones leave this earth..and leave us in pain..we have to think.."Till we meet again"...

Till next time, keep looking up.

I find those experiences very comforting. I had a friend that sat with ehr mother in law and her words to her where to you hear that. Do you see. What beauty they must be experiencing. It does make me feel very comforted.
Blessings

A beautiful tribute here to both Steve Jobs and your dad. I had meant to read the article I saw on Yahoo about his last words but forgot to go back to read it. Thanks so much for including it here, gave me chills really!

I hope you're not sitting in a bunch of the S word right now and if you are that you didn't lose power/heat like many of my family in Mass. Far too early start this year but you know we love guests & our door is always open for a get out of Dodge visit :-) xoxo

What a touching tribute. I never have any of Apple products, but the week he died, I bought an Ipad...best ever! I also wondered what's on his mind when he said those 'wows'. I remember the day my dad died, he was only 53. I was so sad and after 2 nights of no sleep, i took a really short nap and in between sleep and wake...i remember him hugging me and there's this huge bright lights behind him. I never forgot that moment. hugs...

That was such a lovely blog. How comforting and touching were his last words. His family had to feel peace hearing that. Thinking about the whole scene really chokes me up. xo

Nice tribute to Steve Jobs and your dad. I hope to be able to say something along those lines at the last moments of life...seeing true peace at last. There is a good book based on many interviews from Steve Jobs at the library, just might have to check it out.
Smile today. :)
