Well, the manure was dumped and now the tiller will be doing the work..Hoping this year will be a successful one..Last year, was good..some years are better than others.
As I have said before, it is good my husband takes care of it.. The thought of freezing/canning our veggies, is exciting.
Just to know what you are eating, is a big reward. Something ,I can't stress enough to everyone. Please pay attention to labels and what you put in your mouth..Use your common sense, it is a gift..
I remember when oleo was pushed and I say pushed, with all the hype on how great it was for you..Now, they are finding out it did quite a bit of clogging in the ole arteries..Makes you think, what else is being pushed at us, cloning, gmo, etc..
Just giving you "food for thought"..
Till next time, keep looking up...

I really wish I enjoyed gardening...
Great garden pictures, they sure get me excited for spring!! xo
what a great garden!! I wish I had time for that. Nothing better than your own home grown vegetables.
Every year I try to garden and every year the animals demolish it! I like gardening, very relaxing.
Good Luck with your garden! Be careful with fertilizers as they harm harmful to the earth. If you google natural fertilizers you can find some recipes that are earth friendly!!!!!
I'm so jealous! Wish I had a land to plant a garden. :)
wow, you are really lucky to have a plot of land to plant n garden! Wish we can do that too, hehe...my husband will love gardening, but we cant cus we life in singapore, where land is scarce, n most ppl live in flats, me included :)
btw, thanks for stopping by my blog!
I hope you grow lots of juicy stuff!
We are putting in some plants this year. The past three years, we were in an urban area with no land. I was so lost without any place to grow things, so, I planted a roof-top container garden. I had some victories and some disappointments but overall I was just happy to dig in dirt (even though it was just container soil and not *real* dirt).
This year, I have a little but more space to spread out. I'm a gardener who likes to look into the future...I like to plan for the long-haul. So, I started small this year, as I have done before, and I will see what this effort brings us.
Can't wait to see where your garden takes you!
Oh, what a wonderful garden!! I have always dreamed of having a garden all to myself and the butterflies... maybe one day when we are out of this apartment!! Yours is just beautiful! You must be so happy to grow your own fresh veggies!
What a great garden. Everytime I try to grow veggies the deer and groundhogs wipe it out. I've been slowly finding out which perennials they leave alone and have been sticking to those.
My garden is my relaxation and stress release.
Hope you have a prosperous year.
Oh, beautiful garden. We've neglected ours the past two years, and I so miss the fresh tomatoes (but it's so easy to get out of the habit).
When it comes to gardening, I have a red thumb not green. I wish I good at it but you have a awesome garden. Thanks for sharing your photos of your lovely garden.
