Sun is shinning...

The sun is out and it is beautiful..Snow is melting and we might even have a barbecue today. Will try and get inspired to paint something outside. It is hard to find things to paint when the snow goes, everything looks kind of sad..then you start to see it all come to life. A few blossoms here and a few flowers there..exciting things. Next will be sounds. My favorite sound will be the peepers and if all goes well, they will start the end of this month..they are little frogs in ponds..They have such a beautiful sound to me..of course all the bird sounds are wonderful too. Do you realize, you don't have to go anywhere to hear a symphony?
It is the greatest medicine in the world and no matter where you are, you have something like it..and it is for free..Never take these things for granted. They are gifts for us to enjoy..

Till next time, keep looking up..

I really needed a pick me up, and this was JUST what I needed. I can see the first inklings of spring, and I'm SO ready. I too love the sounds of spring :)

those are beautiful bird feeders. my son's nursery used to have walls with rows of painted bird houses which i had painted when I was pregnant with him. He's 10 now.

I think it would be great to hear peepers. We have HUGE frogs that come up out the ground during monsoon season, but they sound like crying babies and it always freaks me out. It took me five years to stop looking for the lost baby. (shutter)

I was just enjoy the sound of birds today. I'd love to live close enough to a pond to be able to hear frogs.

The sound of the outdoors is so beautiful. Even here in Australia when you get the odd kookaburu chorus which sounds like a load of babbling monkeys LOL.
