I was so surprised to see this Baltimore Oriole on the Humming Bird feeder. Last year they were here all the time. Took me by surprise this year and I only got three pictures. Will have to sneak around the corner tomorrow, camera in hand and see if he comes back.
This is the kind of stuff that brings so much joy, and it doesn't cost a dime.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Wow those pictures are awesome! You always get such close up shots of the birds in your yard. Plus you know all of them by type, very impressive because I personally wouldn't know it was an Oriole if it landed on my head haha! He is very handsome indeed. Can't wait to see your upcoming shots!
We had Baltimore Orioles show up this year for the first time. Amazing. They were here for about 2 weeks before they disappeared. I had my camera out a lot! http://twitpic.com/5j97r
Your lucky, you them face to face. I never seen our family birdie, for awhile now. 2 of her lil birdies fell down on our stair & hubby found yesterday morning, dead §:-(
I don't know what type they are. I just know the looks *blush
Love them, anyway...
Have a great evening & blissful Sunday, my Lady.
Much hugs,

Oh he is so cute! I wish I had Orioles in my backyard :)
The Baltimore Orioles want to talk with you about your "Hummingbirds Only" feeder ;)
I've had a breeding pair of red hawks nearby and they have teased me ALL spring long! When I don't have my camera, they'll circle 20-30 feet above me. As soon as my camera is in hand, they won't come with reasonable range of my 200mm lense. Birds.....
Beautiful bird. I've not seen one around here.
