Fingerprint Friday..

Pampering Beki started this Fingerprint Friday theme and it makes you aware of so much..
Now here is a Fingerprint from God, we sometimes take for granted..Corn.. I forget what a gift this vegetable is..Not only tasty, but used for corn syrup, corn starch, cereals, fuel, corn husk dolls and the list goes on.. You can keep planting it in the same field, year after year, which you can't do with many other vegetables..This wonderful food is really a fingerprint if you think about it. I have to give credit to the American Indians for sharing their wonderful knowledge and this beautiful gift..
Every week, I thank Pampering Beki for having Fingerprint Friday..it makes you see so many things to be thankful for..Check out her blog and join in..

Till next time, keep looking up..

Love the thought in your blog today!! I have been excited about corn this year in particular because I was lucky enough to grow the best corn I ever had this year. xo

I LOVE that!! We just had corn last night for dinner and I'm afraid that I forgot to see the beauty in it so thank you for the reminder.

I will look at it differently from now on!

Sorry I've been running so late on Fridays. :( I'm still trying to find the perfect way to fit it into the schedule before the kids go to school at 8. (We're in central time zone.) Please don't stop listing your Fingerprints though! It's super easy for me to just add your name if your's is already listed. :)

Thank you for doing this every week! I really love seeing what you come up with.

I am so addicted to sweetcorn. I like to have pasta, cheese and sweetcorn all mixed together. Sometimes the cheese makes it all look really gooey but it is so yummy!!!!!!!!

I have been enjoying farm fresh corn on the cob this summer, and loving everything about it! I think about what the pilgrims must have thought when the Native Americans first introduced them to it... Manna from Heaven!

You know something I never would have thought of corn as pretty before but it does have some amazing color and texture. Wow, you opened my eyes to a new way of seeing & thinking, thanks so much!
