Lately, I find I am looking close at the bees and crickets..since I have camera in hand..I ask them to smile..Now, you have to admit, they are cute..The last picture of the cricket, you would almost think he is thinking, "Get the picture taken, I have things to do"... see how his head is turned?
So, I did hurry and he took off..
Till next time, keep looking up..

Your photos are amazing! You just keep getting better and better!!!!
love your photos!
Thank you for the award!! I will pass it on to five lucky receipients. I am a little late with the thank you as my job has been wild! But I do sincerely appreciate it.
Wonderful photos! I'm sure they don't mind giving up a little of their valuable time for a photo or two :)
I love that first cricket picture. Almost looks like something you would see in a nature magazine.
I too am kind of rooting for Cloris Leachman to do well. I love her, espcially As Frau Blucher in Young Frankenstein.
great photos! You've got me looking at tiny bugs and worms too. Just don't let anyone sting you.
the grasshopper is so beautiful
I love little creatures, all kinds really. When I was little I used to play with little green grasshoppers and inch worms - so much fun to watch!
Thanks for your lively posts!
Phenomenal photos!
Great, great shots Rosebud! I love that you're getting close to the insects! Now if only you could find a big hairy garden spider... lol
considering that i haven't seen an actual bee in *so long*, this made me smile.
i saw a grasshopper last week and got so excited. seems like i haven't seen one of those in forever as well.
lovely shots.

I really enjoy seeing your photos of nature. Your narrrations of what they are thinking are a crack up too! We had a locust outside our door. My curiousity stopped when it flew and landed on my husband's leg. I ran inside. So I am glad to see these critters up close through your blog!
Gorgeous photos! I always love taking photos of bugs, it's so challenging.
