Wild Flowers
These are a few of the wild flowers at summers end..The first, I believe is in the Aster family..not sure of its name..The second, I was told, is called Golden Glow..it is related to the sunflower..It grows tall and spreads every year..It is such a beautiful flower and its blooms last for a long time..As much as I enjoy these wild flowers, I always feel a little sad..just knowing summer is coming to an end when they appear..Then I have to snap myself out of that feeling and be happy I can enjoy the beauty for another year..See how you have to work with that saying, "Is the glass half full, or is the glass half empty"...Ah, this life..we can't give in to the negative.
Till next time, keep looking up..

You are always educating me about flowers! Which is wonderful because I know nothing about Gardening, although I draw flowers all the time, whether it's sketches, a print idea, a decoration on a fashon design etc!
Wow, those pictures are great!!! Your becoming quite the photographer! xo
Wow wonderful pictures and your blog is great too!
I love these pictures! Aren't flowers so wonderful?
I hear you about the end of summer but I must say I'm looking forward to the cooler temps! It's a humid day today and our central air's gas thingy needs to be replenished.
Lovely pics of your flowers though!! And a very BLUE sky!!
Beautiful flowers! Beautful words to go with them also :) Your photos make me think of Spring. Which is only a week away now for me. Yipee! Happy happy :D
Those are gorgeous shots, and some lovely sentiment as well.
So beautiful! We had asters in our old house's backyard, they grew to about as tall as me (not hard to do sadly lol) and had white flowers just like these. I loved to see them bloom :)
It's definitely end of summer, it smells like fall in the mornings. But unfortunately the weeds are still growing and in case you have all these gorgeous flowers in your own yard I really envy you ans I don't seem to get anything healthily growing, except for the weeds which don't have blooms, so I cannot even call them wild flowers.
Rosebud, these pictures are beautiful! Thank you for sharing them with us! I've always loved this type of wildflower. And I know what you mean about feeling sad, but because I look forward to the Fall season I shake it off quickly. :)
Love the flowers! I posted pics of desert flowers this week.
