Fingerprint Friday.

I think these two hanging baskets on our deck are such a beautiful Fingerprint from God.

I bought them at the beginning of summer and they have not stopped blooming, even with all the rain. I never tire of their beauty.

Ahhh, Sun...

I guess we aren't the only ones that missed the sun. This little bird was enjoying the beautiful rays. Not sure the angel was that happy.

Shadow Shot Sunday.

Shadow shot Sunday. Okay, here I go.
Some of the grandchildren came for a visit. So, up when the basketball hoop. All was well, then came the rain. See where the basketballs/soccer
balls are? In a puddle. Ended that game and in a hurry. Today, I pulled my angel around since we had a little sun.
This is not a normal summer, for those that wonder why all the rain. I don't remember this ever happening, since I have lived here.

Fingerprint Friday.

Most that read my blog, know I have a love of the sky..Well, here is a fun Fingerprint from God . This cloud formation was here long enough to get a picture and then gone. You have to admit, it is a bit different. So many things in life we miss, because we are too busy. Glad I stopped and looked up.

Shadow Shot Sunday. ( I am a day early)

Guess what? We are having rain for a change. This is getting very old. Lucky, I had these pictures of the yard and kitchen curtain, from the last time the sun was shinning.

Hey Harriet you have to give me "E" for effort.

I was going to cheat and drag items around the house with a flashlight, but found these pictures.

Check out Hey Harriet's blog and join in the fun.

Fingerprint Friday

As I was hanging the wash, looked up and saw this in the sky. I know it was from two jets, but what a great Fingerprint.

Believe it or not, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed about something and looked up and saw this.

Doesn't matter how it was formed, it gave me peace.

Our Heros.

Sky News had this picture of a Marine running for his life, after an IED blast.
It killed two of his comrades.
I put this on my blog for all of us to remember our men/woman and all they do for freedom.
Sometimes, we get so involved with what is going on in our lives, we forget how many of our soldiers are dying. Their lives are lost, to give freedom to others and to keep America safe.
May God Bless them all and may we all appreciate their unselfish sacrifice.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Crochet Sweater

I have been neglecting my blog and friends, since we found out about our youngest having a baby.
Crocheting/knitting has taken me over. Just wanted to show this coat I made in crochet.
The pattern came from an old Workbasket magazine. It is such a pretty pattern, but won't kid you, a lot of work. Have made different kinds of sweaters/toys, but this was a challenge for me.
The hat is made too, just didn't show it.
Till next time, keep looking up.

Fingerprint Friday.

There is something so beautiful about this tree.
It is an old tree, but stands so tall. It looks very sparse, but every time I look at it, I am drawn to it.
It is a lovely Fingerprint from God. So I share my tree with all of you .
Makes sure you visit Pampering Beki's blog for more wonderful Fingerprints from God.

Interesting Subject, I Think.

Every now and then, something really catches my interest. Crop circles are one of the most interesting things and I always wonder where they are from. Do people do this at night? Are they from this world? It always seems to be in England, even though there have been some here in the United States..Linda Moulton Howe has a wonderful site and she is always writing about crop circles, as well as other interesting things..Earthfiles is her link. Check it out and read all about it. Here are two pictures from her site. Taken by Lucy Pringle.
Don't you just wonder what this is all about?

Happy 4th of July..Let Freedom Ring.

Happy Fourth to all.

Just look at the wonderful statue and think of what it means.

Freedom.

On this day, we in the USA, should give so much thanks for all we have.

I am so thankful for everything and if I don't like something, I can complain and not worry about being thrown in jail.

My thoughts go out to our soldiers fighting for others, so they can have the freedom we have.

Think about the youth in Iran and the way they were killed for speaking out against the elections.

We are so lucky. Let us never forget.

God Bless America.

Till next time, keep looking up.

Thank You ,Monika Rose.

Monika Rose was so sweet to give this award to me and I was slow on the thanking her. I have to write 7 things about myself.

1. My favorite color is green.
2. Enjoy being home.
3. Started blogging, because the winters get to me and I try and keep sane.
4. I am dangerous with a computer. Hit the wrong buttons all the time and get into trouble.
5. Dislike thunder/lightening. I can't help it, I am a ninny.
6. Want to move to a warm climate.
7. All my blogging friends are very special to me.

Everyone knows I have a hard time handing out these awards..So I give it to all. Each and everone of you are special in my heart and you all give me much joy with your blogs.
Again, I thank my dear friend Monica Rose for thinking of me and sharing this award.

Till next time, keep looking up.

Fingerprint Friday.

We have been having nothing but rain. Last week, the sun

came out around four in the afternoon.

Caught some pictures and they reminded me of angels dancing in the sky. The last picture was the next day around the same time. Didn't last and we are back with clouds/rain/thunder/lightening.

They are beautiful Fingerprints from God, even though they were gone quickly.

Nothing But Rain.

This has been a terrible summer so far. The rain and nasty weather won't stop. Now don't misunderstand me. I am thankful it isn't snow, but our summer is so short, this weather is depressing. I believe it broke records this year, June being one of the wettest.
The grass is so tall and the garden is not doing well with all this water.
Maybe July will change things.
Click on the pictures to see how hard the rain is coming down.

Isn't This Interesting?

Robert Roy BrittEditorial DirectorLiveScience.com robert Roy Britteditorial Directorlivescience.com – Tue Jun 30, 9:35 am ET
The breaking of the sound barrier is not just an audible phenomenon. As a new picture from the U.S. military shows, Mach 1 can be quite visual.
This widely circulated new photo shows a Air Force F-22 Raptor aircraft participating in an exercise in the Gulf of Alaska June 22, 2009 as it executes a supersonic flyby over the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis.
The visual phenomenon, which sometimes but not always accompanies the breaking of the sound barrier, has also been seen with nuclear blasts and just after space shuttles launches, too. A vapor cone was photographed as the Apollo 11 moon-landing mission rocketed skyward in 1969.
The phenomenon is not well studied. Scientists refer to it as a vapor cone, shock collar, or shock egg, and it's thought to be created by what's called a Prandtl-Glauert singularity.
