What A Crop...

I have to admit, I am shocked at the Raspberries this year..The bush just keeps giving...
This is an old bunch of Raspberry bushes someone gave me a long time ago..Husband cut them all down and they started back two year ago..I told him to leave them..Well, never have I seen so many berries..So far, I think I have had two gallons full..Have been making jellies and freezing the rest, for making more things in the winter..Will of course share this wealth with people..Don't want you guys to think I am a greedy gert..
This is one of the happy bushes that didn't get hit with my famous "weed whacker"..

Till next time, keep looking up..

Wow! I have never had any kind of berry bush. My parents' garden was always filled with vegetables and fruit trees. I love berries and I'm sure fresh picked ones are even better!

Yummy! Between raspberries & blueberries all you need now is some yogurt, ice cubes & a blender & you have the most awesome smoothie EVER! Enjoy them!

You are so lucky to have your own Raspberry bushes! I love them but they are so expensive here in the stores.

My dad lived on a non working farm when I was growing up. My absolute favorite thing (aside from exploring the old barns) were the huge raspberry bushes that fruited twice a summer :) Looks like you had a great haul!

How lucky you are! I love raspberries! Glad you'll not be a greedy gert (haven't heard that cute term before...hehe) & that you'll share some winter recipes down the track. Problem is that my winter will be over when yours is happening ;)
