Last night I was able to take a couple of pictures of the beautiful Harvest Moon..It was shinning so nicely..One picture is looking through the curtain..Isn't it wonderful? No matter how many times I see a full moon, I still get excited looking at another. Looking at the moon, always makes me realize...we all have a purpose on earth..the only difference, Mr. Moon knows his..

Those are lovely pictures. One of my most favorite poems is The Moon by Jorge Luis Borges. It is so generically used as a favorite symbol that sometimes it's unspeakable sacredness seems to wear away. You just have to look up and be surprised by it all over again.
It looked like that here too...and funny enough I grabbed my camera when I got up to let the dogs out! Beautiful pics!

Oh yea! I was coming over a hill in the car yesterday just before twilight and the moon was so big it filled the space of the end of the road. I tried to get a shot but photography & driving are a bad mix, especially on the highway, so it makes me so happy to see the amazing shots you got of this wonderful moon!!! Gorgeous :)

It's the Chinese Mid-autumn Festival at this time & the moon is supposed to be it's fullest & brightest at this time of the year! My kids are staring hard to see if they can see the bunny in the moon as per our legend.
