God Bless America.

Today, I dedicate to all the lives lost in the Twin Towers on
9/11..

Being born in L.I., New York..this terrible day hit home..My husband's brothers worked on the buildings when they were being built..There were many stories I had heard that have left a hole in my heart..May we never forget all the innocent lives that were lost this day..Workers, tourist, fireman, policeman and the list goes on...
Never take anything for granted..God Bless America..

Till next time, keep looking up..

I remember that day all too well...even though I was not in New York. I'm sure the entire nation felt it.

Sadly, I believe too many people do take life for granted and those who do need to stop and think a moment. We only have one life...embrace it and be patient with it.

This is a beautiful post. Thank you for sharing with us.

This day will forever be burned in my memory, as with everyone else. I can recall exactly where I was and what I was doing... just thinking about it makes my heart break. Lovely post.

A wonderful & thoughtful post. I also remember that tragic day & exactly what I was doing when I heard the news. Over here in Oz we felt the pain for your country & continue to acknowledge it.

Never take anything for granted

Amen. We were in Boston at the time but Matt growing up on LI it hit him very hard. There are still people he is not sure if they made it or not. It is good to focus on all the support people offered each other everywhere when this happened. Beautiful post.
